The K'ómoks First Nation is located on the eastern shore of Vancouver Island. They are known to themselves today as the Sathloot. 1
The language of the K'ómoks people is Éy7á7juuthem, which is also spoken by First Nations Sliammon, Klahoose, and Homalco. The language is also called 'Comox'. 2
