Commonwealth Foundation Launches New Website
July 5, 2007
The Commonwealth Foundation is pleased to announce that it has launched a new website to help bring information to its stakeholders in a clear, concise and interactive way.
The new website www.commonwealthfoundation.com has all the latest news and developments from the Foundation’s three programme areas as well as a number of new features.
Grant applications can now be made online making our grant making programme more accessible than ever. Podcasts are available to listen to and showcase a diverse range of our work. You can join in a discussion forum or enter the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize or the Arts and Crafts competition online. You can find out all the latest information on the Commonwealth People’s Forum and from August 1 you will be able to register for the event through the website.
The Foundation’s new website also sees the inclusion of an external news feed as well as giving you the ability to add our news feed to your website.
The redesign will better illustrate to civil society, governments and other partners such as the private sector the breadth of the work of the Commonwealth Foundation. By being more interactive and enabling registrations and applications online for international events and competitions the Foundation is constantly improving the way we reach our global audience.
The Foundation has also focussed on making papers and notices more easily accessible by Board and Committee members. This is all part of making the Foundation accessible from all over the world.
Of course, that’s not all. As the site grows we will be adding more and more functionality to it, making it easier to find out about recent Foundation activity in your country. So please keep checking back to www.commonwealthfoundation.com
