The right half of the door and mouldings is incomplete. The date, "11.4.65" and number are in the upper left. Bayne's monogram and the identification of the city, "Monreale," are in the lower left corner.

Bayne's monogram and the name of city are in the lower left, and the date, "5.4.65," and number of the drawing are in the upper left. The sketch shows a porch with a triple arched entrance above a stairway. There are five figures - three on the street and two on the entrance porch - that provide a sense of scale. The sky has a faded blue wash; the buildings have an orange-brown wash. There is an oval glue stain in the centre of the drawing.

There is a buggy in front, and four figures to provide a sense of scale. The date, "7.4.65" and number are in the upper left. The monogram and identification, "Palermo Cath. W. Tower to ______", are in the lower left corner.

Bayne has written over the number for this drawing; located in the upper left corner, it appears to have a 9 over or under the 8. As A15b (U994.30.35) and A17b (U994.30.39) are dated as "8.4.65," it is likely that this sketch, which falls between them according to Bayne's numbering system, is probably also to be dated April 8. Like A15b, the subject of this sketch is identified in the lower left as "Palermo. S. G. degli En." This drawing, however, shows the interior of the structure beneath the domes. A figure is shown in the corner to the left. Bayne's monogram is in the lower left, and the date and number are in the upper left corners.

There is no specific identification noted on this sketch, but according to the date, "10.4.65" and number in the upper right, and its similarity to A 27a (U994.30.55), it must represent the interior of a church at Palermo. Column piers with corinthian capitals support pointed arches. A candlestand is at the lower right, and two figures are sieated in the lower left. Bayne's monogram is also in the lower left corner.
